Blogging.

Yes it's true, there's another blogger in the family! The hubs is an executive recruiter and has started posting job tips to help in the search for employment. And let me just gush for a minute - he's super smart, really good at resume writing and loves helping people.

This image makes me laugh - Kaija is giving her look and Kierstyn is being the sweet older sister. My girls bring so much joy. They are full of personality and definitely keep me on my toes. Sometimes I don't know how my husband does it living in a house full of crazy girls, but he keeps us grounded. 

I love how this photo captures the light - I'm definitely finding my voice in photography and this is by far my favorite look.

Now that Kierstyn is in junior high I'm not allowed to make cutesy Valentine's to the accompany her treats. Instead we just made chocolate dipped spoons sprinkled with white candies wrapped in clear bags and tied with a red string - simple and delicious, but perfect for a teenager.

Now Kaija on the other hand, wanted to model for me and was up for anything I created as long as it was pink. I attached a heart shaped chocolate and wrapped the Valentine in a clear envelope. Perfect for a preschooler.

This is what I call the best of both worlds - two happy girls and one happy mama. Happy Valentine's day my lovies! Have a fabulous day celebrating with the ones you adore.

My three year old LOVES everything pink. Pink shoes, pink dresses, pink jeans, pink..... you get the picture. She wears at least one item a day and even names her stuffed animals Pink, including her newest addition, a three foot pink stuffed unicorn. I promise I'll take a picture so you can see the size difference! : ) Do you have a child who will only wear one color?

Image a day - blueberry vine.

I discovered these hanging from a garage in an alley and I love the contrast between the blue berries and the red vines. They are two beautiful colors that should definitely be mixed together and used again and again.
